Making Sentences with "I hope" and "I wish"

This next video will teach you how to construct sentences using "hope" and "wish."  

*Note: In one particular example, it's in fact better to say "I wish I had met Michael Jackson." 

This is because the King of Pop has tragically already passed away. (Incidentally, other "wish" examples about Steve Jobs will be like this.) 

But if you replace the sentence with the name of another public figure or celebrity -- for instance Eminem -- the formula still holds. 

Or, you could say: 

I wish I could meet ______. 

which is basically still following the Past Tense structure.
